About the Position

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs and overall condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient assessments, care, medications, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.

Requirements

• Current and active RN license as required by the facility and state.
• Previous Med Surg nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week on assigned day or night shifts.
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and quality patient care.
