Work Shift PRN (United States of America) Job Description Job Purpose The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) will provide timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to the sexual assault victim. The SANE exam may include a medical-forensic exam, prophylaxis for pregnancy sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, and referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up, support and participation in legal proceedings. Education Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing- BSN preferred Licenses And/or Certifications Valid and Current Texas RN license. Current SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) certification from the Texas Attorney General office or Currently in-progress of certification and obtained within 6 months of hire Current TNCC, or required within 6 months of hire Work Experience Two years of Emergency Department or Acute Care Experience, preferred Skills Methodist Dallas Medical Center is one of North Texas’ best places to work.
