About the Role The company is seeking a VP of Business Development to spearhead the aggressive expansion of its services and products within the life sciences sector. The role is pivotal in developing and executing strategic territory business plans, identifying and pursuing high‑value opportunities, building strategic relationships with key decision‑makers, and managing essential business development functions, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing new revenue streams. The VP will collaborate with internal SMEs to design and deliver compelling solutions, negotiate contracts, and convert opportunities into long‑term partnerships. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic territory business plans. Identify and pursue high‑value opportunities within the life sciences sector. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision‑makers. Prospect, qualify, and close new revenue streams. Collaborate with internal SMEs to design and deliver compelling solutions. Negotiate contracts and convert opportunities into long‑term partnerships. Qualifications BS in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or MS preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in life sciences sales/marketing or professional product firms. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. Experience in consultative, insight‑focused, account‑based selling. Comprehensive understanding of life science customer experience. Strong negotiation, communication, project management, and collaboration skills. Ability to think strategically, build relationships, and adapt to changing market conditions. Results‑oriented mindset and relentless drive to win new business. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
