Digital Content Manager & Vendor Coordination SpecialistLocation: Nashville, TN Work Arrangement: Remote Job Type: Long-Term ContractPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Digital Content Manager & Vendor Coordination Specialist to support the planning, development, management, and delivery of digital learning content and asynchronous learning experiences.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in digital content development, instructional design, e-learning, vendor coordination, project management, and Section 508/WCAG accessibility compliance. This role will work closely with internal teams, subject matter experts, technology teams, leadership, and external vendors to deliver high-quality, accessible, and engaging digital learning products.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, edit, manage, and maintain digital learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, presentations, graphics, and web-based resources.Design and support asynchronous learning, self-paced courses, microlearning, and online learning pathways.Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to transform content into engaging and effective learning experiences.Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to digital learning content.Serve as the primary liaison for external vendors, consultants, and service providers.Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, reviews, approvals, dependencies, and vendor communications.Monitor vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet quality, accessibility, and contractual requirements.Facilitate project meetings, status updates, stakeholder reviews, and issue resolution.Review and remediate digital content to meet Section 508 and WCAG 2.1+ accessibility standards.Perform quality assurance testing to ensure digital content is functional, accessible, consistent, and learner-centered.Gather requirements and translate stakeholder needs into actionable project plans and deliverables.Maintain project documentation, accessibility reviews, vendor deliverables, timelines, and status reports.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, Digital Media, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.3+ years of experience developing digital content, e-learning, or online learning resources.Experience managing projects involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.Demonstrated experience developing asynchronous learning modules and online learning experiences.Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.Working knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1+ accessibility standards.Experience reviewing and remediating digital content for accessibility compliance.Strong project management, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.Preferred QualificationsExperience in K-12 education, higher education, government, or public-sector environments.Experience with LMS platforms such as Canvas, Moodle, Schoology, or Blackboard.Experience with Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, or similar tools.CAPM, CPACC, instructional design, accessibility, or relevant authoring-tool certification.Top SkillsDigital Content Development, Instructional Design, E-Learning, Asynchronous Learning, Vendor Management, Vendor Coordination, Project Management, Section 508, WCAG 2.1, Accessibility Compliance, Content Remediation, LMS, Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Multimedia Editing, Quality Assurance, Stakeholder Management, Project Tracking, Adult LearningContract DetailsLocation: Nashville, TNWork Arrangement: RemoteEngagement: Long-Term Contract
