This is the job for you. The Capstone Scholars Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the Capstone Scholars Program. This position manages a various records for the Capstone Scholars Program, business processes, and department communications. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Manage primary communication channels of the Capstone Scholars Program including the phone, email, and calendar accounts. 2. Maintains an active, organized, and regularly updated system of over 2800 records per academic year including roster files, student attributes, withdrawals, and student participation metrics via the Capstone Scholars dashboard and Garnet Gate. 3. Act as main office contact for various business processes associated with purchasing payment requests, purchase orders, reimbursements, journal entries, and travel using the Student Affairs and Academic Support central ticketing system. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma and 1 year work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency. • Assist in managing Faculty Director calendar.
• Manage office calendars and help coordinate scheduling of the office space and outside venues.

• Maintains an active, organized, and regularly updated system of over 2800 records per academic year including roster files, student attributes, withdrawals, and student participation metrics via the Capstone Scholars dashboard and Garnet Gate.
• Provides historical data to campus partners for assessment and programming needs

Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty

• Act as main office contact for various business processes associated with purchasing payment requests, purchase orders, reimbursements, journal entries, and travel using the Student Affairs and Academic Support central ticketing system.
• Attend trainings for work performed and stay up to date on university policies, etc.
• Create all required memos and submit through appropriate channels.
• Oversee office Travel Card.

• Maintain office and programming supply inventories to ensure staff has adequate supply levels.
• Provide on-site assistance with Capstone Scholars Program events as needed
