Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based

Location: Escondido, CA

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Student Population: High School

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team and support students across multiple campuses. In this role, you will help students develop the skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and functionally—working as a key member of each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about student outcomes, collaborative in approach, and comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to determine occupational therapy needs

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans based on each student’s plan of care

• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all applicable standards

• Participate as an active member of the IEP team, including annual IEP meetings

• Collaborate with educators, families, and other providers to support student success

• Ensure services meet professional, ethical, and regulatory standards

Minimum Requirements

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice

• Minimum of one (1) year of professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• Completion of TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

• Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all applicable federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
