Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Play a meaningful role in supporting students’ growth by providing occupational therapy services in an engaging elementary school environment. This full-time contract position covers a maternity leave from August 18th through December 18th, with the potential to extend for the full school year. Located near Escondido, CA, you will work alongside a dedicated team of education professionals who value collaboration and student-centered care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience with school-aged children, preferably within an elementary caseload
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy tailored to students with diverse needs
• Excellent collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
• Creative, flexible, and compassionate approach to addressing student challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for elementary students
• Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEP goals
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to integrate therapeutic activities into the classroom setting
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate progress with parents/guardians and provide resources as needed
• Support a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students
