CareCore at Heritage is a skilled nursing facility in Minster, Ohio, seeking a Cook to join our Dietary team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes. Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with resident diet orders and nutritional guidelines. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. Work closely with the Dietary team to ensure timely meal service. Complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Dining Services. What We\'re Looking For Previous cooking experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare, long-term care, restaurant, or institutional setting. Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy. Dependable with strong teamwork and communication skills. Friendly and respectful when interacting with residents, families, and coworkers. Ability to work every other weekend and holidays. Available Shift Full-Time Cook: Day Shift Benefits Every other weekend is required.
