This Technician II Security position will provide efficient and high-quality installations related to Commercial integrated security systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing startup, installation, closeout and service of jobs; assisting in design and other tasks as assigned while delivering on Bosch Building Technologies commitments. We are seeking an expert to install, integrate, and maintain advanced Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and high-resolution VMS (Video Management Systems) across our mission-critical data center environments. Success in this role demands strict adherence to Method of Procedure (MOP) and zero downtime protocols, exceptional cable management discipline (in line with BICSI standards), and proficiency with specialized security hardware like mantraps and biometric authentication systems. Responsibilities:

• Installs, terminates and tests equipment as per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.
• Responsible for training apprentices on Company procedures, systems, and installation techniques.
• Work with Project Managers, Field Engineers, and Lead Technicians on startup to ensure complete system compliance.
• Daily communications with Installation Supervisor on delays, requirements, and general status of jobs to ensure delivery of the project
• Work with Installation Supervisor to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department
• Repair, restore and test all systems per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.
• Accurate written record keeping, submitted on time and complete,
• Maintain professional licensing as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.
• Work in confined spaces as necessary.

Required Qualifications :

• PLT Certification : Limited Energy Journey Technician Certificate
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Minimum 1 year working in the Security Systems Integration space
• Ability to read blue prints and schematics as evidenced by 1 year of experience
• Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite as evidenced by 1 year of experience
• Aptitude for learning system programming as evidenced by 1 year of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree (2 year) in a technical capacity
• 3+ years working in the Security Systems Integration space in commercial
• Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision
• Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
• Ability to complete projects on time and on budget
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Ability to function as an effective team member
• Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves

• Compensation: Union Classifications IBEW 110
  • Journeyperson Technician : $38.28
  • Technician: $43.74 Union
  • Senior Technician : $49.22
  • $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS
• Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary
• Travel Requirements: Occasional Travel Required
• Benefits: Union
