Quick Facts: Location: Prestonsburg, KY 41653 Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date: 08/31/2027 Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, No call Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certs: Kentucky medical license (or eligible), Board Certified in Hematology or Medical Oncology Experience: Recent patient-facing experience required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $4992.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (per state/federal laws) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care to approximately 15 patients daily Support low-volume clinic with solo provider model Collaborate with APPs, nurses, and multidisciplinary team Manage new and follow-up patient visits, with a 20/80 ratio Participate in tumor board meetings and treatment planning Supervise infusion services in accordance with standard oncology practices Document care and collaborate on orders alongside APP support What You Need: Medical license in Kentucky (or eligible for licensure) Board Certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology Recent patient-facing clinical experience Strong diagnostic and communication skills Ability to work independently within a supportive team About the Assignment: This outpatient hematology/oncology clinic is part of a leading healthcare facility committed to delivering high-quality cancer care. The clinic utilizes Meditech EMR and provides full support staff, including APPs and oncology-trained RNs.
