Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Highlands ARH Medical Center. You'll provide inpatient care within a supportive, integrated health system committed to improving health outcomes in southeastern Kentucky and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with specialists, nursing staff, and case management to ensure coordinated care and smooth transitions.

Manage acute medical conditions with evidence‑based protocols and best practices.

Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical education efforts.

Candidate Profile

Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience preferred.

Skilled in managing acute inpatient conditions and coordinating multidisciplinary care.

Committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a rural setting.
