Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring an active NV license and prior OR specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Wide range of surgical specialties including Urology, plastics, ENT, vascular, ortho, GYN, general, robotics, and spine/neuro
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call expectations include late shift coverage (5pm-7am, average 2x/month), 7-day call coverage (6:30pm-6:30am, average 3x/month), and Saturday call coverage (6:30am-12:30pm, average 3x/month)
• Point-based call system
• Hours are not guaranteed
• Blocked scheduling potentially available

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred
• 2 years of OR specialty experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1 supervisor reference within the last year required

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties including robotics
• Facility prefers candidates with at least one year of travel experience over first-time travelers
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
