Senior Associate Scientist, Analytical Development

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Associate Scientist in Cambridge to develop and optimize analytical methods for RNA therapeutics and lipid nanoparticles. The role involves designing characterization techniques, managing method lifecycle activities, and collaborating across teams to support CMC strategies and product development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize analytical methods for RNA therapeutics, lipid nanoparticles, and components
- Lead method lifecycle activities including development, qualification, validation, and technology transfer to CROs/CDMOs
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing with data review, verification, and interpretation
- Troubleshoot complex analytical challenges and provide recommendations to improve assay robustness
- Collaborate with process development, formulation, and manufacturing teams to support program milestones
Requirements
- B.S./M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 2+ years CMC experience
- Hands-on HPLC/UHPLC experience (IP-RP, RP, CAD detection) for RNA and lipid quantitation
- Biophysical characterization expertise: DLS, RiboGreen, ELISA, Raman, microscopy, UV-Vis
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
- Strong technical writing skills for regulatory documentation and reports
- Familiarity with ICH and FDA regulatory expectations for analytical submissions
Compensation: $94,400 - $114,392
