PRN LPN Nights | Short-Term Agreement (Temporary Position)
This is a temporary position with a 12-week agreement term, offering $50 per hour with no benefits. The required commitment is two 12-hour shifts per week, including a minimum of one weekend shift per pay period.
The role involves performing technical direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed physician, or dentist. This includes taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting in patient assessments. The specialist level of this position requires two years of practical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, and the ability to provide guidance and training to others.
Education and Experience: Must possess a valid Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse or a license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licence Compact (eNLC) with two years of practical nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Knowledge of nursing techniques, medical terminology, and infection control measures. Ability to exercise sound judgment, follow instructions, and establish effective working relationships.
Special Requirements: Applicants may need to fulfill job-related travel and meet physical examination requirements, including lifting 50 pounds and pushing/pulling 25 pounds.
