Yard Jockey Opportunity at MI Windows and Doors in Hegins!  

FULL-TIME - 2 nd Shift; Mon– Fri 2:30pm – 11pm with OT as needed  

Starting rate is $ + Shift Differential!!

General Purpose:

Typical Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Loads and unloads trucks when not moving trailers in and out of docks.

• Must haveyardjockey test before they are able tooperatesolo.

• Properly moving trailers on our property

• Performing any loadstatusyard checks as required by facility.

• Visuallycompletingsafetyand road worthiness of trailers on our property.

• Red tag trailers, if needed.

• Must obeyallapplicable traffic laws and facility procedures.

• Yearly MVR background checks.

• Participating in continuous improvement processes.

• Maintain an effective Preventative Maintenance Inspections.

• Very physical and fast-paced work environment whileremainingfocused on safety

General Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

• Mustpossessa valid PA driver’s license.

• Previousyard jockey experience is a plus.

• Must becomfortable inworking in all weather conditions.

• You must be available to work overtimeandweekends if needed.

• Must be willing to work loading/unloading trucks in the shipping department when not moving.

• Safedriving record isrequired.

• Must have good people skills when communicating with fellow team members and drivers.

• Capability to stand and movefrequentlywhile performing repetitive assembly tasks.

• Possess a collaborative, team-driven attitude. Team members rely on each other to complete required taskstomeet daily and weekly production schedules, and as a result a good attendance record anda teamfocus is critical.

• Be quality and precision-driven, and able to follow all quality and safety requirements.

• Have a customer service mentality anda strong desireto meet daily production goalssothe organization can meet and exceed customer expectations.

• Show strong reasoning and creative problem-solving skills to overcome production challenges.

• Previousexperience in a team environment.
