Opportunity: Advanced Practitioners - Surgery Job Details: Seeking a Nocturnist Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a talented and enthusiastic surgery team Responsible for first-assisting in the operating room, rounding, bedside procedures, admissions, discharges, and consults Work in collaboration with a number of surgeons across multiple service lines including General Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery, with some coverage of Orthopedics and Vascular Full-time, night shift schedule with flexible scheduling options available No call required High level of autonomy within a seasoned and experienced team Inpatient surgery setting utilizing EPIC clinical technology Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible) RNFA certification required for Nurse Practitioners; AGACNP certification required Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a surgery or related setting required; 2+ years preferred Market-leading compensation including up to $30,000 in shift differentials on top of base pay Paid CME time off plus CME budget, and reimbursed professional licenses and dues Enhanced tuition assistance and higher education partnership opportunities Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice Established mentorship and orientation programs for newly hired providers Compensation: Employed salary with benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr BAS HealthCare
