We're hiring full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to serve veterans and their families at a CalVet facility in Los Angeles, CA. About the Role:
- Provide direct OT interventions under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Support veterans in improving self-care, coordination, sensory processing, and ADLs
- Implement care plans, guide therapeutic exercises, and train caregivers
- Document sessions and patient progress using Liri AI
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff
- Offer services in clinic and teletherapy (when permitted)
Schedule:
- Full-time role for the 20252026 service year
- Standard daytime hours with built-in planning flexibility
- Onsite in Los Angeles, with relocation support available
What You'll Need:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- California licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in adult rehab, especially neuro or ortho preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfort working in a veteran-centered, structured care setting
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual Range: $40 on 1099 or $30/W2
- W2 or 1099 options, with optional profit-sharing
