Shipping Coordinator

Description Position at JBS USA Shipping Coordinator ($25.00/HR) Resume required for this position. Applicants will not be considered without a resume. Location: Lenoir, North Carolina Purpose & Scope We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator at our Lenoir, NC facility. This role will prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for product shipment Benefits Include Paid vacation and holidays Medical, dental and vision benefits 401(k) plan Better Futures Program Career development opportunities Principle Responsibilities Prepares documentation, maintains records, and coordinates logistics for product shipment Leads communications within the Shipping/Receiving area. Schedules and Coordinates both Domestic and International freight forwarder transactions Ensures freight forwarders are selected based on company objectives for cost and delivery Maintains shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping transaction in appropriate systems Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as required Provide guidance to others within the shipping/receiving area Communicates status of shipping/receiving activities to appropriate personnel Review open customer orders, create pick worksheets on an as needed basis to efficiently meet customer shipping schedule and satisfy the requested ship dates Generate shipping output documents as required Generate customer invoicing upon shipping. Audit waiting-to-ship reports daily to ensure all invoicing is completed Coordinate the shipping of freight by contacting appropriate fright carriers Communicate shipping volumes and priorities closely Shipping Supervisor Maintain knowledge of current international import/export regulatory requirements Working Conditions Work in Plant environment, shipping dock, cold environment Education High School/GED Experience Experience in a fast paced environment Special Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong troubleshooting skills Strong Customer Service Skills Strong time management and organizational skill; Ability to multitask Excellent computer skills Experience with excel EOE/Vet/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
