Senior Java Developer

*Description*
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Architect / Senior Java Developer to lead design and development efforts for the Environmental & Social Business Advisory Portal. This role requires strong technical expertise in Java, full-stack development, database optimization, and containerization, along with leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
Required Skills
* 10+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher preferred)
* Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch
* Strong Core Java skills
* Experience in building REST APIs (JAX-RS/Swagger/YAML)
* Experience in Web Services (JAX-RPC or JAX-WS)
* Working knowledge of security protocols - OAuth 2
* Knowledge of XML Schema and Processing Technologies (Parsers, JAXB, XSLT, etc.)
* Good understanding of Core Java Patterns and J2EE Design Patterns (Adapters, Business Objects, Delegates, Service Locator, Singleton, DAO, DTO)
* Experience with Apache and Tomcat
* Experience with Horizon tool set (Bitbucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible)
* Knowledge of build tools and processes like Maven, Ant, and others
* Working knowledge of test automation using SOA Test, Litmus, etc.
* Knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
* Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)
* Full-stack development experience with strong hands-on coding skills
* Database expertise: Oracle SQL/PLSQL, schema design, query optimization, performance tuning
* Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex queries and stored procedures
