Production Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop product-agnostic software solutions that improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Design and implement hardware testing strategies, automated test systems, and testing tools.
• Collaborate with software and production teams to improve automation and operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide feedback to design teams to support product enhancements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and triage production, product, and process issues.
• Lead system architecture design for technical initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Ability to solve problems, think critically, communicate collaboratively, and demonstrate accountability and ownership.
• Experience driving strategic design of scalable system architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, hardware testing and automated test systems experience, hardware-software integration knowledge, data analysis and performance monitoring experience, high-volume manufacturing experience, and experience with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, and Nix.
