Overview A continuous-process chemical manufacturing operation is hiring a Director of Operations to lead production performance, operational reliability, and manufacturing execution across a large-scale plant environment. About the Role This role reports to senior site leadership and oversees day-to-day operations across multiple production units in a 24/7 manufacturing operation operating under OSHA PSM requirements. Responsibilities Lead daily operations across multiple continuous-process production units Drive safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant performance Manage production staffing, operating priorities, and unit execution Coordinate with maintenance and reliability teams to reduce downtime and improve operating continuity Lead plant response during operational upsets, shutdowns, and emergency situations Monitor production KPIs including throughput, utilization, quality, and environmental performance Support turnaround planning and operational readiness activities Develop frontline operations leadership and succession plans for high-potential employees Partner with engineering and technical teams on process improvements and operational optimization Participate in annual operating and capital planning activities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline preferred Required Skills 12+ years in chemical, petrochemical, refining, chlor-alkali, plastics, or related manufacturing Experience leading operations teams within continuous-process manufacturing Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Production Superintendent, Unit Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership role Strong exposure to process safety, reliability programs, and turnaround execution Preferred Skills Strong exposure to process safety, reliability programs, and turnaround execution #J-18808-Ljbffr
