Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies. (5%) Performs other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications Minimum Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy. Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP). Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) National Board of Respiratory Care required prior to the expiration of the Temporary Practice Permit (TPP). Preferred Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care RRT. Two years’ experience in pulmonary/respiratory medicine in a hospital setting. Additional Employment Requirements CPR – American Heart Association. Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate. Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate. Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
