Job Title: Customer Service Associate – Paint Your Own Pottery Studio

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and creative Customer Service Associate to join our paint-your-own pottery studio team. This role focuses on providing an engaging, welcoming experience for guests of all ages while assisting with studio operations and maintaining a clean, organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a warm, upbeat manner

• Explain the painting process, studio policies, pricing, and timelines

• Help guests select pottery pieces, paints, and techniques

• Provide basic artistic guidance and troubleshooting as needed (no advanced art skills required)

• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately

• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with bookings or party reservations

• Maintain cleanliness of the studio, including tables, brushes, paint areas, and common spaces

• Restock supplies such as paints, brushes, and pottery items

• Assist with opening and closing duties

• Support special events, birthday parties, and group bookings

• Safely handle and organize customer pieces before and after kiln firing

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Friendly, patient, and approachable demeanor

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment

• Basic organizational and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working with children, families, and groups

• Dependable with a strong work ethic

• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift light to moderate items (pottery, supply boxes)

• Willingness to perform cleaning tasks regularly

Work Environment:

• Creative, casual, and interactive studio setting

• Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required
