About This Role

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to join our team at PRECIOUS MOMENTS LEARNING CENTER. If you have experience working with young children and are passionate about creating a nurturing environment for their growth, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing weekly lesson plans aligned with the First Steps 4K approved curriculum
• Maintaining open communication with families through regular updates and progress reports
• Fostering a classroom environment that promotes safety, respect, and social-emotional development
• Executing daily cleaning routines to ensure a clean and safe facility
• Attending mandatory trainings and workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices
• Following all employer policies and procedures at all times
• Adhering to the First Steps 4K Guidelines
• Communicating with families on a daily or weekly basis through writing or face-to-face

Requirements

• Able to pass a Child Abuse and Neglect Registry background check
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications to complete tasks
• Two-year degree in early childhood or a related field AND must be demonstrate progress towards a four-year education program

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a play-based environment, where creativity and flexibility are encouraged
• CPR and First Aid Certification, demonstrating a commitment to student safety and well-being
• A Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or a related field, providing a solid foundation in child development and education
• Ability to use various computer applications to efficiently complete tasks
