Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) – Industrial Health Travel Contract Athletic Trainer Auburn , WA Locum Tenens Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) – Industrial Health Contract Auburn, Washington | Weekday Day Shifts | Occupational Health & Injury Prevention Rhino Medical is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for a contract opportunity supporting an onsite industrial/occupational health program in Auburn, Washington . This is a weekday, daytime assignment focused on what Athletic Trainers do exceptionally well: early intervention, musculoskeletal assessment, injury prevention, ergonomics, employee education, and return-to-work support . For an ATC interested in applying their clinical expertise beyond traditional athletics, this opportunity provides direct exposure to the growing field of industrial and occupational health while maintaining a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. Location: Auburn, Washington Position: Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) Assignment Type: Contract Setting: Industrial / Occupational Health Coverage: ASAP – September 8, 2026 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM One Training Day Required What You'll Do As an onsite Athletic Trainer, you'll help prevent workplace injuries and provide early clinical intervention when employee concerns arise. Responsibilities include: Perform musculoskeletal evaluations and early-intervention care Provide first aid and triage for workplace health concerns Identify injury risks and recommend corrective strategies Educate employees on safe movement, body mechanics, and injury prevention Support stretching, wellness, and prevention initiatives Assist with return-to-work planning following injury Maintain accurate clinical documentation Track and report relevant workplace health data Collaborate with onsite safety, operational, and HR stakeholders Required Qualifications Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer Active Washington Athletic Trainer license Current BLS certification Strong communication and clinical assessment skills Comfortable working independently in an onsite environment Preferred Experience Industrial or Occupational Health Ergonomics Musculoskeletal early intervention Sports medicine CEAS or OSHA 10 certification Athletic Trainers with strong transferable clinical skills are encouraged to apply even if their experience has primarily been in traditional sports medicine.
