Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (84 hours biweekly expected); must be agreeable to alternating 3x12 and 4x12 shift weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting during night shift hours
• Float to overflow units and the Emergency Department (for patient holds) as needed
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility protocols and standards
• Complete orientation modules as scheduled during the orientation period
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license — license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with prior travel nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required — must be submitted at time of application
• Nursys verification required with submission
• SSN/RTO documentation required with submission
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented completion plan in place
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior experience floating across PCU, overflow, and emergency department hold environments
