Security Officer - Nights

Position St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Part‑time Security Officer for the Night Shift (11:30pm‑8:00am weekends only). The role requires 16 hours per week. Responsibilities Serve customers and provide high‑quality service with care and courtesy. Treat customers/patients in a respectful manner. Report all accidents or incidents promptly. Correct and/or report any potential safety hazard. Take ownership for a safe, comfortable and clean environment. Make appropriate safety and security rounds. Maintain watch on the employee parking lot. Open/lock buildings as appropriate. Use/intensify premises light and turn in a list of defective lights. Conduct/assist with missing person reports. Provide escort services to visitors. Maintain smooth control of traffic. Assist motorists involved in vehicle breakdowns. Maintain safety practices in the area of assignment. Have oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center). Handle duties associated with the operation of a metal detector and wanding. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. 1–2 years of customer service‑related experience in a hospital setting. Prior Hospital Security Officer experience preferred. Fingerprints and background check during the hiring process.
