Universal Banker

Provides services to customers in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while maintaining the confidentiality of the bank’s records and customer transactions. Educates customers about our sales and service delivery options and refers the appropriate products and services matching the clients’ needs based upon the client conversation. Also responsible for processing regular transactions, such as receiving and paying out money and keeping records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions in an efficient, friendly, and accurate manner. Key Responsibilities Performs sales, service, and financial activities with all clients Conducts and completes client conversation with each client to identify financial needs and potential financial solutions Performs intermediate duties and provides support related to branch’s operational activities and financial services Offers information on bank products and services that can benefit the customer and enhance the banking relationship through the client conversation Completes all sales and referral activity documentation to provide a record for performance tracking and assist in targeting future sales efforts Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies deposit amounts, and examines checks for endorsement and negotiability, and issues negotiable items Performs special tasks such as preparing official checks, processing cash advance, accepting loan payments, redeeming savings bonds, and scanning daily transactions with accuracy Provides safe deposit box and accounting support, if applicable Perform duties related to Teller and Customer Service Representative Other duties as assigned Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred Previous Experience with a retail bank preferred Computer Literate Experience: General familiarity with information systems architecture. Exposure to Office, Office365, Active Directory, and banking applications. Familiarity with the Graham‑Leach‑Bliley Act and banking regulations. Familiarity with Cybersecurity practices and fraud procedures to safeguard customer information and bank assets. Solid business and communication skills with the ability to prioritize workload and to communicate clearly and concisely. Skills Interpersonal - Expert Microsoft Office Suite - Expert Education Some college or better in Accounting or related field.
