$2731.97/week - Job Summary: Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures with competence to produce high-quality images for physicians and healthcare providers. Operates independently, utilizing clinical skills to deliver accurate, timely results, and ensures patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Responsibilities: Perform a variety of routine and specialized sonographic examinations following established protocols. Assess patients' conditions and adapt procedures accordingly to optimize image quality. Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to explain procedures and address concerns. Document findings accurately and prepare detailed reports for review by healthcare providers. Adhere to all regulatory, privacy, and safety standards for patient care and data protection. Qualifications: Possess ARDMS certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Graduation from an accredited diagnostic sonography program or equivalent credential. Have at least 2 years of recent relevant sonography experience. Exhibit intermediate knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Demonstrate proficiency in operating sonography equipment and responding to hospital emergencies. Hold valid CA State Licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
