Production Control Coordinator

Job Title

Responsibilities:

• Be part of an aligned and capable team, multi-task, work closely with all organizations, build relationships and problem solve.
• Review morning inventories for potential critical
• Check part status for all customers
• Check parts owed to plants
• Analyze and prepare any expedites needed for plants
• Review all customers using the same part and prioritize shipments
• Make shippers for early trucks and print Pick list at shipping office
• Prepare car loading matrix for switches
• Check railcar cubing and total shipping volume by part
• Add shortage parts to Critical list
• Coordinate with Scheduling the required die sets and changeover to protect customers
• Review Rack Status and Daily Rack Inventory for shortages
• Print available car inventory
• Review car manifests in CMMS to find required racks
• Select railcars to bring in for switches
• Check TSAA for overdue rail cars or inbound trucks
• Review for critical shortages from plant startup
• Put lineup in CMMS informing customer what is being done about any parts that are out of transit
• Check all customers for CUM disagreements
• Answer all part shortages
• Monitor part statuses at customers in CMMS and answer required status changes as the day progresses
• Monitor PAARS to be sure that parts are running
• Review Service parts requirements for coming week
• Monitor shipping progress (Service ships over several days)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment in the areas of Production Control or Materials Management.
• Materials Management, Material Requirements Planning, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Analytical, SAP, Lean Six Sigma

Preferred:

• Manufacturing plant experience
• Lean Manufacturing, Inventory Control

Education:

• Associate Degree
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
