We are seeking entry-level Data Center Technicians to support installation activities in a fast-paced data center environment. This is a hands-on role responsible for rack and stack, structured cabling, power connections, and general installation support while following established procedures and safety standards.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with structured cabling or low-voltage experience looking to grow their careers in the data center industry.

 

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare equipment racks, including rail kits, PDUs, cable management, and labeling
• Rack and stack servers, network, and storage equipment
• Install, route, dress, and label copper and fiber cabling
• Connect power cabling following established standards
• Assist with airflow management and cooling system installation
• Follow installation documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Perform basic quality checks and report installation issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

 

Required Qualifications

• 5–6 months or more of structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience
• Experience running Cat5, Cat6, copper, coax, or fiber cabling
• Basic understanding of rack infrastructure and cable management
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift equipment, work in confined rack spaces, and stand for extended periods
• Commitment to following all safety procedures and PPE requirements

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous data center experience
• Rack and stack experience
• Experience with fiber optic cabling
• Familiarity with PDUs, patch panels, and cable management
