Job Description & Requirements/n /n - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department /n - Discipline: RN /n - Start Date: ASAP /n - Duration: 13 weeks /n - 36 hours per week /n - Shift: 12 hours /n - Employment Type: Travel /n /n /n Job Title/n RN – Emergency Department Location/n Alexandria, VA Schedule / Job Type/n Contract | Onsite Key Responsibilities/n /n - Provide direct patient care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department across all care zones /n - Manage a mixed patient population including STEMI, stroke, sepsis, sprains, sutures, and high-acuity cases /n - Administer and monitor drips including routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation /n - Manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen in the absence of respiratory therapy support /n - Maintain patient ratios of 4:1, with the ability to flex to 5:1 during peak census periods /n Required Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license /n - Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience /n - Experience with both adult and pediatric emergency patients required /n - BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required /n - Ability to manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen independently /n Preferred Experience / Skills/n /n - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred /n - Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency environment with diverse patient populations /n Why Join Us/n /n - Training provided to support your transition into this dynamic emergency department setting /n - Opportunity to work in a versatile, high-acuity environment caring for a broad range of patients across all age groups /n /n /n /n Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID #759697.
