SKHHP Executive Manager

Position Executive Manager – SKHHP (South King County Housing Partnership) at the City of Auburn. Position is open until filled, with the first review date of May 4, 2026. Responsibilities Oversee the administration of SKHHP, supporting both the Executive Board and the Community Advisory Board. Advocate for affordable housing solutions across South King County. Provide technical assistance and expertise in data collection, analysis, land‑use policies, and regulations related to the preservation and development of affordable housing and anti‑displacement. Administer the SKHHP Housing Capital Fund. Coordinate with the Executive Board, senior staff, and councils from member jurisdictions to align SKHHP activities with the housing policies, goals, and priorities of each member jurisdiction. Interact and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Land‑Use Planning, Community Development, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Architecture, or a closely related field, or documented experience that demonstrates equivalent competency. Four (4) years of equivalent work‑related experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity. Valid state driver’s license during the term of employment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in urban planning, land‑use issues, affordable housing finance and development, and related regulations. Experience working closely with elected officials and senior governmental staff. Ability to analyze regional housing trends and data to support sound policy recommendations.
