Registered Nurse, PCU | Utica, NY | Start date 10/19/2026 | 13 weeks | $3,103-$3,148 per week | 48 guaranteed hours per week | 2x4 Nights | Hospital travel assignment

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as a registered nurse in the PCU/IMCU for adult patients (18+) with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions.
- Monitor patient status, perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, monitor telemetry, and respond to clinical changes promptly.
- Utilize unit-specific equipment and devices, including temporary pacing, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and chronic ventilator support with RT assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; document care and interventions in EPIC EMR; educate patients and families as appropriate.
- Maintain safety and quality standards, manage documentation accurately, and float to other units as required by the assignment.
- Adhere to unit protocols, assist with procedures, and participate in ongoing performance improvement activities.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with Nursys verification; RTO must be included at time of submission.
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience; travel/assignment experience preferred.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with 12-hour night shifts and support for chronic vent patients as needed.
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics.
- Local candidates within roughly 75 miles may qualify for local rate eligibility.

Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN) with active NY license.
