Data Collector

We're hiring Robotics Data Collection Specialists to support the development of advanced robotic systems by capturing real-world human movement data used in machine learning and robotics research. In this role, you'll work directly with motion‑tracking equipment and wearable sensor technology to help generate the datasets that power next‑generation robotic capabilities. What You'll Do Perform structured movement sessions while wearing motion‑tracking devices and sensor equipment Complete a variety of physical activities such as walking, carrying items, reaching, lifting, bending, and other natural movements Follow detailed testing procedures to ensure accurate and consistent data collection Assist with the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of data capture equipment Monitor data quality and report issues, inconsistencies, or opportunities for process improvement Meet daily production targets while maintaining precision and attention to detail Support a safe, organized, and professional work environment Adhere to all operational, safety, and ergonomic guidelines What We're Looking For Ability to remain active throughout an 8+ hour shift Comfortable performing repetitive physical movements including standing, walking, lifting, and reaching Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions consistently Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing priorities Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable transportation and willingness to work at various Bay Area project sites as needed Authorized to work in the United States Nice-to-Have Experience Technical support, electronics, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or field technician experience Experience troubleshooting hardware or software issues Exposure to virtual reality, gaming systems, motion tracking, or simulation technology Interest in robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or automation Military or other highly process‑driven operational experience Experience working in fast‑paced research, testing, or production environments Schedule - Highly preferred if you can work either shift Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 2:30 AM - 11 PM, 10:30 PM - 7 AM ($33 hr Shift) This project operates around the clock with Day, Swing, and Night shifts.
