• General Clerk Grade, Base Salary Range $36,668 - $71,777 pa Plus Superannuation & Annual Leave Loading

Overview

The Housing Assistant position is an entry level role where you will directly support the client service delivery team. The primary purpose is to provide a high level of support through managing a range of administrative and client service functions. The role involves responding to counter and telephone enquiries, providing information to clients, and referring client enquiries and information to client service staff. This position contributes to housing opportunities that put people first.

What You’ll Do

The Housing Assistant provides direct support to the client service delivery team and manages various administrative and client service functions to support service delivery.

Your day may include responding to enquiries, providing information to clients, and referring enquiries to client service staff. You will work in an area focused on growing housing opportunities that put people first.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who can provide a range of customer-focused services and skills to help facilitate the following key accountabilities:

• Provide routine administrative activities to contribute to the efficient operation of the team/unit and support delivery of services to DCJ clients/customers.
• Process business information and maintain administrative systems to ensure the flow of information aligns with standards and guidelines.
• Use relevant technology to prepare documentation and presentation material; support filing systems by creating, storing, retrieving, and tracking files to ensure accurate and safe information storage.
• Maintain regular contact with other business areas to arrange meetings and manage the flow of information.
