About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 0700-1730, 4 days per week, days vary Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Endoscopy/GI Lab License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS Must-Have: Strong IV skills and technical experience Description: BLS certification is required. ACLS certification is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience is necessary. Weekend coverage will be provided by on-call duty. Holiday coverage will also be managed through on-call duty. RNs will take call on weekends for 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday, with only 2 hours required Monday through Friday, which can be self-scheduled. There will be no floating required for this position. Strong IV skills are a must. Daily procedures will include 75 outpatient and 25 inpatient cases. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC and EndoWorks. The position includes moving to probationary status. The floor orientation period lasts for one week. Scrubs should be navy blue pants and solid navy-blue tops or solid white, with jackets available in solid navy blue or solid white. Compliance with dress code is expected.
