Part-time, 20 hours

1st shift, variable times 5am-6:30pm

Summary:
Transports patients to and from surgery, endo, and diagnostic testing departments. Transports admitted and discharged patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education Required:
a. High school graduate or equivalent

Experience and Training Required:
a. Previous experience as a patient aide or transporter in a hospital or extended care facility (Nursing Home) preferred
b. Previous customer service experience preferred

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
b. Outstanding interpersonal skills
c. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
d. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

Level of Physical Demands:
a. Medium: Exerts 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or ten to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
