Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care strategies
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Educate patients and their families about wellness, preventive care, and managing health conditions
• Prescribe medications and therapies as per your scope of practice
• Engage in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care
• Accurately document all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Will Need

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or its specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to obtain within 90 days)
