This is an Controlleropportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role. The company is seeking a true builder—someone who can step into an environment with limited existing infrastructure and establish scalable accounting processes, controls, and reporting. What You'll Do Build and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal control Establish month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Develop financial reporting packages and management reporting Create scalable workflows across AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and reconciliation Implement budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting processes Improve operational efficiency and recommend process automation opportunities Partner directly with the President and help build an accounting function capable of supporting future growth What We're Looking For Construction or building industry experience required 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar leadership experience Experience building accounting processes, controls, and infrastructure from scratch Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Ability to operate independently and create structure in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Ideal Candidate This role is perfect for a hands‑on accounting professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems, creating processes, and helping growing companies build a strong financial foundation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Elevate Recruiting
