Customer Service and Sales Representative

$45,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Bonuses

A successful agency is looking for a Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team. No insurance license is required to apply. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating with customers, solving problems, and wants to build a career in insurance.

You will receive training and support while learning the insurance business. Must be willing to obtain Property and Casualty insurance licnese.

What Youll Do

• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Provide friendly, responsive customer service by phone and in person
• Help customers with policy questions, billing, coverage changes, and other service needs
• Learn to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance options
• Prepare insurance quotes and present coverage options
• Follow up with customers and prospects
• Develop new business through referrals, networking, and customer relationships
• Identify opportunities to help existing customers with additional insurance needs
• Learn insurance products, systems, and agency procedures

What Were Looking For

• No prior insurance experience required
• No insurance license required to apply
• Customer service, sales, retail, banking, hospitality, or related experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable talking with customers by phone
• Positive, professional, and people-oriented
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable learning computer systems
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses
• Desire to build a long-term career in insurance

Must have or be able to obtain:

This is a true sales and service position. You will help customers with their insurance needs, provide ongoing service, and learn how to identify opportunities to grow the agency through new business and additional products.
