Will also lead one or more large projects ranging from $100,000 to $5,000,000 and manage a team of operators, leads, and subcontractors for various work scopes and geographies. Key Success Factors Ensure safety is a priority on all projects and for all team members. Directly supervise employees and subcontract services. Interpret operational data and make operational changes as needed. Coordinate all maintenance activities to maximize uptime and productivity. Interface with environmental and regulatory agencies, generators, and haulers to ensure efficient processing and delivery of material. Achieve budget and KPI targets for managed projects. Manage project financials and provide accurate forecasting and scheduling. Spend >50% travel required for on‑site management. Essential Functions Apply effective project management and performance improvement tools for system initiatives, balancing cost, schedule, and risks. Collaborate with Leadership, Sales, and Operations on bid proposals. Write thoughtful, creative content for proposals. Support department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Maintain confidentiality in handling materials. Manage, train, supervise, and monitor field personnel for safe equipment operation. Oversee projects from proposal through commissioning and start‑up. Monitor field operations against O&M manuals, SOPs, and company policies. Possess knowledge of land application process, operating procedures, and standards. Make independent decisions to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain daily documentation on removal and materials land applied, and compliance monitoring. Report daily status on processing and maintenance activities to Director of Operations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication for all personnel levels. Technology savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office. Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills. Superior organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Prioritize and multi‑task in a flexible, fast‑paced environment. Process and systems oriented. Self‑manage and direct supervisory/management experience. Obtain required state certifications and licenses. Education and Experience Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred. 2‑5 years of management or supervisory experience. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment required. Proficient computer skills and excellent communication skills. Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention to detail; plan and coordinate complex systems and processes. Knowledge of OSHA and state/federal safety rules preferred. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as belt filter press, centrifuge, loader, and spreader, if properly trained. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Talking, hearing, seeing, standing, walking, climbing, and fiddling. Exposure to inside and outside environmental conditions.
