Sr Marketing Associate

A leading consumer products organization is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Marketing Associate to support promotional execution across retail and e-commerce channels, customer-data operations, and direct-marketing campaigns. This role will configure promotional offers, coordinate customer-data processes for catalog marketing, and deliver recurring business reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities Promotion Execution (60%) Manage end-to-end execution of assigned promotional events across retail and e-commerce channels. Translate promotional requests, business rules, and customer-facing DISCLAIMERS into accurate system configurations. Prepare, validate, and maintain product-level pricing and promotion files. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to test promotions against requirements and expected customer experiences. Monitor live promotions, identify issues, and coordinate timely resolutions to minimize customer impact. Create and maintain process documentation for promotional setup and quality assurance. Advise marketing, retention, e-commerce, and retail partners on effective promotion-execution approaches. Direct Marketing Data Management (30%) Build production schedules that align audience strategy, circulation volume, and target delivery dates. Extract customer lists and purchase data for external partners supporting modeling, segmentation, and suppression activities. Coordinate data files, instructions, campaign identifiers, and summary documentation with vendors. Conduct detailed audits throughout campaign production to ensure accurate list selection and data processing. Collaborate with technology and business teams to keep deliverables on schedule. Business Reporting & Operational Support (10%) Prepare recurring reporting related to retail customer-data capture and campaign activity. Support ad hoc reporting requests by gathering, organizing, and analyzing relevant business data. Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational workflows. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, e-commerce operations, retail operations, data operations, or a related business operations function. Experience supporting promotions, campaigns, customer data, or digital commerce workflows. Advanced attention to detail and a consistent approach to quality assurance. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets. Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with e-commerce platforms, point-of-sale systems, or promotional configuration tools. Experience with customer database management, campaign operations, or direct-mail production. Working knowledge of SQL or other data-querying tools.
