Registered Nurse - Acute Telemetry - Full Time

Role Overview The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care. They demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations, manage contingencies, and make appropriate assignments and delegations to care providers. The role involves utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—while addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. The role involves utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—while addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources. Meet organizational competency standards, demonstrating leadership skills at various levels. Continually develop clinical skills and manage clinical contingencies effectively. Participate in orientation, preceptorship, and competency validation processes. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. At least one year of related nursing experience preferred. Current RN license and BLS certification required. ACLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed within specified grace periods. Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills. Additional Details Work schedule includes 7PM - 7AM shifts.
