If that's you and this role fits, we want to hear from you.The SASY Assembly Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Field Assembly organization, with primary responsibility for purchasing production consumables and supplies, maintaining organization and availability of clean room materials, coordinating new-hire onboarding, and leading clean room training. This position serves as an important link between Assembly, Purchasing, Quality, Human Resources, and other functional teams to ensure employees have the materials, training, and support necessary to operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company requirements.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What you'll do:Production Supplies & PurchasingManage purchasing of production consumables, supplies, PPE, office supplies, and other operational materialsMonitor inventory levels and reorder materials to prevent production interruptionsObtain quotes, place purchase orders, and communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and shortagesMaintain accurate purchasing and inventory recordsIdentify opportunities to reduce costs, improve purchasing efficiency, and standardize commonly used suppliesWork closely with Assembly leadership to anticipate upcoming material requirementsClean Room Supply ManagementMaintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of clean room supplies and materialsEnsure required PPE, garments, gloves, wipes, cleaning materials, and other clean room consumables are readily availableEstablish and maintain organized storage locations and visual inventory controlsMonitor usage and develop appropriate reorder points and inventory levelsSupport adherence to clean room procedures and company quality requirementsCoordinate replenishment of clean room supplies to minimize disruption to productionNew-Hire OnboardingCoordinate administrative activities associated with new employee onboardingWork with Human Resources and department leadership to ensure new hires have required documentation, equipment, PPE, and access prior to startingCoordinate first-day activities, facility orientation, and required production trainingMaintain onboarding checklists and training documentationCommunicate new-hire schedules and requirements to appropriate departmentsClean Room TrainingLead and coordinate clean room training for new and existing employeesTrain employees on proper gowning, PPE, clean room behavior, material handling, housekeeping, and applicable proceduresEnsure employees understand and follow established clean room requirementsMaintain accurate training records and communicate training completion to appropriate personnelCoordinate refresher training when requiredWork with Quality and Operations to identify and address training gapsGeneral Administrative SupportProvide day-to-day administrative support to the Assembly teamMaintain production-related records, spreadsheets, forms, and documentationAssist with scheduling meetings, communications, and department coordinationSupport audits and documentation activities as neededTrack department action items and follow up on outstanding requestsAssist with implementation of process improvements and standard workPerform other administrative and operational duties as assignedWhat we're looking for:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or administrative environment preferredExperience working in a clean room or regulated manufacturing environment is a plusStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and OutlookAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with employees at all levelsAbility to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a cross-functional teamStrong problem-solving and follow-through skillsBonus points for:Experience with purchasing or procurementExperience with inventory managementExperience with ERP or purchasing systemsPrevious experience training employeesKnowledge of clean room procedures and GMP/quality requirementsMust-have requirements:Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsPerform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of timeWork in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenicsWillingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally$30 - $41 an hour Salary range for this full-time position + equity + benefits. The actual salary will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
