Bauman Loewe Witt & Maxwell PLLC (BLWM) is a regional law firm with offices in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Portland, Oregon. The firm specializes in wildfire litigation, large loss subrogation, fire litigation, and product defect litigation. In addition, BLWM handles a range of general litigation matters for its clients. Job Summary BLWM’s North Scottsdale office is seeking a motivated litigation attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing practice focused on property subrogation and complex fire-loss litigation throughout the western United States. Attorneys with experience handling product defect, construction defect, premises liability, insurance, and general liability cases are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance defense attorney looking to make the career transition to high-dollar plaintiff's work. Qualifications JD from an ABA accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials 2-5 years of relevant experience, civil litigation strongly preferred Current Bar admission in good standing in at least one western U.S. jurisdiction (AZ, CA, NV, WA, OR, CO, UT, or NM), CA or NV admission strongly preferred Excellent written, analytical, and oral communication skills Experience handling expert-driven cases and technical evidence is a plus Proactive and self-directed, with the initiative to manage multiple matters independently Commitment to detail and commitment to excellence Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork Compensation Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience and other factors permitted by law.
