Job Description
The Journey Electrician will be responsible for executing electrical installations and maintenance primarily on commercial projects. Working within a small team, this role involves handling low and high voltage systems, control systems, and renewable energy systems with strict adherence to safety standards. The position requires local travel between job sites and focuses on ensuring system reliability through precise testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations and wiring maintenance on commercial projects
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting for low/high voltage and control systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all job sites
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate within a small team of electricians on various project sites
- Travel locally between job sites as required
- Support installation and maintenance of renewable energy electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical work
- Certificate or diploma in Electrical Technology
- Valid Electrician License
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Proficient in electrical wiring, circuit analysis, and safety standards
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in hand tools operation
- Effective communication and attention to detail
