Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based environment near Wilkesboro, NC. Partner with a dedicated educational team to help students overcome communication barriers and thrive academically and socially.

This position begins as soon as possible and continues through November 11th, 2026, with a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule totaling 30 hours a week.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active North Carolina SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in a school setting, preferably serving diverse age groups
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and creative intervention approaches

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other specialists
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of progress, planning, and interventions
• Provide consultation and support to educators and families to ensure student success
• Contribute to the school’s multidisciplinary team and participate in meetings as needed
