- Position Summary
- Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Continuing and Professional Education.
- Start Date
- Position available on or after August 3, 2026 and ending on or before August 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
  - Greet, direct, and assist visitors by answering questions and providing information.
  - Answer, assist, and direct telephone calls.
  - Promptly retrieve, forward, and return all voicemails, emails, and in-person messages.
  - Check and disburse mail; take mail and packages to the mail room as needed.
  - Assist students with registration related questions.
  - Use PeopleSoft to look up student info.
  - Use Microsoft Forms and Excel for data entry, track registrations, and communicate with students.
  - Help prepare documents, forms, and reports for departmental use.
  - Assist staff with inquiries and administrative needs as requested.
  - Ensure reception and lobby areas are neat, clean, and presentable.
  - Assist with restocking office supplies and/or other equipment.
  - Perform general clerical support to the department as needed.
  - Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all student and staff interactions.
  - Run errands around campus as needed.
  - Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Required Qualifications :
  - Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  - Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Salary Range
- $16.90 per hour.
