About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Macro & Market Research team. The successful candidate will be tasked with conducting in-depth market and macroeconomic research, analyzing equity and credit market developments, and producing thought leadership pieces on economic and market trends. This role requires a professional with a strong background in sell-side research, fixed income strategy, or a related markets-focused position, and a deep understanding of fixed income markets and macroeconomic trends. The Vice President will be expected to monitor and analyze global market developments, track economic data releases, and central bank policies, and identify emerging market risks and opportunities. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and developing junior analysts, as well as collaborating with investment teams to support investment decision-making. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 6 years' experience in a relevant role, with a proven track record of producing high-quality written market research and commentary. The role demands excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills, as well as advanced proficiency in Excel and market data platforms. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a CFA designation or progress toward a CFA is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a skilled writer, capable of synthesizing complex market information into clear and concise research, and will be able to contribute independent perspectives on macroeconomic and market developments.
